Testimonials

Mairead is an exceptional speaker, motivator and listener and has adapted topics to suit the needs of our various groups/audiences.

We have worked with Mairead with both once off workshops and bespoke programmes. The most recent for International Women’s day on the topic of Living My Best Life- Four Steps to a Happy, Healthy and Fun Life, this was very well received and feedback was very positive.

Mairead designed and is currently delivering a bespoke programme for our STRIVE group; STRIVE is aimed at getting young adults with higher needs into meaningful employment. She is covering such topics as Confidence, Communication, Development and Life is For Living. She has a great understanding of the lives of young people, is empathetic towards individuals and is extremely professional in her approach and delivery but all the while making it fun and engaging, her energy is infectious.

Last year during Wellbeing week in our school, we had the pleasure of inviting Mairead Moriarty in to visit our third year students. Mairead conducted a workshop with them which thanks to feedback from our students, proved to be fantastic in helping them to feel more relaxed and they each felt that they learned something new about themselves from doing it. They loved Mairead's relaxed and friendly manner. They enjoyed filling out profiles about themselves. She left them with a feeling of empowerment in the positivity that she spread with her messages, 'I am Free' being one of them.

I also noticed the resources she brought with her were colourful and engaging for students. Workshops like these really help teachers and schools in their mission to ensure the wellbeing needs of our students are looked after. We hope to have Mairead back in our school again this year to spread more positivity and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend Mairead's workshops to other schools, they are fantastic.

The workshop on Life Coaching and Wellbeing delivered by Mairead  Moriarty to our 6th yr students  last Spring was enlightening, uplifting and most insightful. She provided our students with lots of positive reinforcement at a time when they really needed it. Motivating and inspiring the students to focus on their body, mind and spirit is a daunting task and it seems to me that her Life Coaching programme tackles this task admirably.

‘’What I liked most was Mairead’s ability to articulate how we were thinking. She really got us.’’(6th year student)

‘’Mairead focused us in preparation for the many challenges ahead.’’(6th yr Student)

Mairead is passionate about inspiring and empowering young people to reach their full potential in life and to achieve their dreams. Mairead believes that with the right tools and positive mindset, young people can be anything they set out to be. I am delighted to recommend Mairead to any post primary school or any educational setting.

To coincide with International Women's Day, 8 March 2018, a Social gathering of County Limerick Civil Defence ARA was held at The Old Library, Kildimo.

One of the guest speakers was Mairead Moriarty who gave us a detailed and well-researched (also humorous!) talk on the evolution of women's lives from centuries ago to the present day. What a thought provoking and pleasant experience it was to listen to Mairead. We all came away with an enlightened mind, and felt we could listen to her forever.

FEEDBACK
What we learned ...

No one can put a thought in my head or heart except me ...

Wellbeing isn't something to dip into now and then, it's part of my daily life ...

I don't have to fit in to belong ...

How to let go of insecurities that people put onto me ...

My focus initially was on getting fit but now it's about achieving balance in my life ...

If you view life a certain way, that's how it will be ...

I can change and grow and be a better person ...

I was pushing myself too hard. I am more compassionate with myself ...

Don't judge ...

Not to change my quirks - they make me who I am ...

I have to consider my whole system when I look at my wellbeing plan ...

I learned how to accept myself ...

Hearing about other people's experiences and seeing how they have overcome them is motivating and inspiring ...

Vision

All I need is within me

Once I understand who I am and identify what unites me with

those around me, I will be inspired to  make choices and take actions that will transform my life.
